Inclusive Playgrounds

Inclusive Playgrounds helps communities create extraordinary playgrounds where all children, regardless of abilities, can develop essential skills for life as they learn together through play.

Miracle Recreation and Inclusive have worked together to create 5 unique playground sites to achieve a mission "to create a groundbreaking playground where children and people of all ages and all abilities could celebrate life together."

"The Saginaw community's vision of a Boundless Playground is 'to keep ourselves young and our children younger through the concept of play.' The inspiration and excitement for this playground is evidenced by the fact that several members of the advisory committee are either physically challenged themselves or have children who are. Providing a place where children play together to their own abilities creates a haven for children and caregivers of all ages. The project is near and dear to everyone's hearts and is already generating great enthusiasm in the community.

Located in a new park being developed in Kochville Township, the project will be a regional hub the community hopes will stimulate development of many more fully integrated and universally accessible playgrounds throughout the county. "

Community Build

Recognizing that playgrounds build communities, why not have the community build the playground? Miracle Recreation of Michigan has established a proven community-build playground program combining the state-of-the-art Miracle playground equipment with our own experience in making Miracles happen on time, on target, and on budget.

Many communities around the state have benefited from our expertise in the planning, design, and organization of a community build. We'd like to share our experience when it's time for you to create your own community-build and community-building playground project.
